These days, it seems like everyone with a smartphone is a photographer! For years, I was part of that group, capturing images I thought were special—until I discovered the creative potential of a dedicated digital camera.
Retirement has given me the time to refine my skills, focus on composition, and immerse myself in photography. Most days I’m in my element, out with my camera chasing the light and the next great shot. And there’s a special joy in returning home, uploading the photos to my Mac, and seeing the results. I’m filled with gratitude in these moments.
My creative process
Photography is more than just capturing a moment—it’s about bringing it to life. Through my creative process, Capture, Design & Print (CDP), I transform my photographs into fine art prints and carefully crafted print products.

My career spanned many years in hospitality, catering, and the events industry. Coming from the “old school” of customer service, I take pride in carrying that focus into everything I do today.
